51Թ College came together as a campus community for a memorial service held April 20 to celebrate the life of student Thomas “Tommy” Krickovich, who died in a tragic accident the night of April 15.

AMHERST, N.Y. – Renee Bowman Daniel, associate professor of social work at 51Թ College, received the 2016 Humanitarian Award in honor of her exemplary dedication to the social work profession at the college’s annual Social Work Humanitarian Fund Dinner held on April 8.

11:00 AM to 2:00 PM - Outside YSC Student Center - Side Lawn: Families: Join us under the Tent next to Yurtchuk Student Center (Side Lawn) to check-in and get helpful information!
11:30 AM to 1:30 PM - YSC Dining Hall: Enjoy a lunch at the YSC Dining Hall with your student. After lunch, use this time for students to get settled, visit offices, relax, and check out campus before sessions begin!
1:30 PM to 2:15 PM - Lumsden Gym: Let's kick off orientation with a 51Թ Welcome in the Lumsden Gymnasium. Families and students will learn more about what it means to be part of the 51Թ community and about life on campus. Dr. Kerry Spicer, Vice President for Student Affairs will lead this session.
