Lamark Shaw is the Director of Career Services at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, where he combines over 14 years of experience in higher education with a strong commitment to student success. Lamark has an extensive academic background, including a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership (MA-OL) from Medaille University and a Bachelor of Science in Design from the State University of New York, Buffalo. He is also a graduate of the University at Buffalo's Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL) and holds a Certificate in Academic Leadership from the WNY Consortium of Higher Education.
As a lifelong learner, Lamark’s educational journey has shaped his dedication to supporting students in achieving their academic and professional goals. He works closely with faculty to integrate career readiness into the curriculum, ensuring that students gain the skills needed for success after graduation. Lamark’s role at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø includes overseeing career development programs, providing internship opportunities, and equipping students with the tools for career success.
His passion for education and student success is driven by his strengths in Achiever, Competition, Includer, Ideation, and Learner.

Sara Rinehart (she/her) is the Assistant Director of Career Services and is passionate about empowering others as they navigate their personal and professional life journey. Sara completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Speech & Hearing Science at the University at Buffalo. She earned her master's degree from Buffalo State University in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration. Outside of school and work, Sara enjoys spending her time with friends and family. She loves the outdoors, and you can typically find her camping, hiking, or traveling somewhere.

Erin McKendry (she/her) is a Career Advisor with Career Services. She is passionate about helping students tap into their unique strengths, skills, and interests to build a meaningful and successful career path and a marketable career portfolio. She earned an M.S. in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from Buffalo State University and an MBA from the University at Buffalo. Outside of work, Erin loves spending time with her family, including her husband and 3 sons, traveling and reading, and is a devoted practitioner of Pilates and yoga.
