AMHERST, N.Y. – 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College will hold its third annual 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Day in Amherst on Sept. 8, a special celebration to connect the college community with Main Street’s thriving business district.
AMHERST, N.Y. – Richard G. Schott, vice president for business affairs and treasurer at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College, has announced that he will retire from his leadership role, effective Sept. 15. He has held the vice president position since October 2014.

AMHERST, N.Y. – 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College’s inaugural Founders Celebration, a new annual tradition to commemorate the college’s rich history and origins, will kick off with a dedication and ringing ceremony at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 7 to officially unveil the institution’s Founders Bell.

Come connect with our community, get your questions answered, and partner with us for a successful first year!
9:00 AM to 12:00 PM - Various Locations: We're thrilled to welcome our new residential students! During this time frame, new residents are scheduled to move in to their respective residential spaces on campus.
11:00 AM to 2:00 PM - Outside YSC Student Center - Side Lawn: Families: Join us under the Tent next to Yurtchuk Student Center (Side Lawn) to check-in and get helpful information!
11:30 AM to 1:30 PM - YSC Dining Hall: Enjoy a lunch at the YSC Dining Hall with your student. After lunch, use this time for students to get settled, visit offices, relax, and check out campus before sessions begin!
1:30 PM to 2:15 PM - Lumsden Gym: Let's kick off orientation with a 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Welcome in the Lumsden Gymnasium. Families and students will learn more about what it means to be part of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø community and about life on campus. Dr. Kerry Spicer, Vice President for Student Affairs will lead this session.
