AMHERST, N.Y. – 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College’s athletic training graduates have for the fifth consecutive year achieved a 100 percent first-time pass rate on the rigorous National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification exam, a rate that far surpasses the national average of 83 percent.
AMHERST, N.Y. – 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College’s Physical Therapy Program has earned reaccreditation from the prestigious Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), a distinction the program has held continuously for 40 years.
AMHERST, N.Y. – 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College has received a $50,000 grant from the Margaret L. Wendt Foundation to support the college’s Center for Allied and Unified Sport and Exercise, a new initiative designed to offer recreation and competitive athletic opportunities for persons with disabilities.
AMHERST, N.Y. -- 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College nursing students and faculty will have access to free educational resources on wound care through a new partnership established with Why Wound Care?, an initiative to inform nursing students, recent graduates, and faculty about rewarding careers in wound care.
AMHERST, N.Y. -- Brandi Guerinot, senior associate athletics director for internal operations, will serve as interim athletics director at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College while a national search is conducted to find a permanent successor for Bridget Niland, who previously announced her intention to pursue new opportunities with the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo beginning in early January.
