AMHERST, N.Y. – Buffalo area refugees will share their personal perspective in a panel discussion with local experts on the impact current refugee and immigration policies are having on Western New York families and children at an event taking place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Come connect with our community, get your questions answered, and partner with us for a successful first year!
9:00 AM to 12:00 PM - Various Locations: We're thrilled to welcome our new residential students! During this time frame, new residents are scheduled to move in to their respective residential spaces on campus.
11:00 AM to 2:00 PM - Outside YSC Student Center - Side Lawn: Families: Join us under the Tent next to Yurtchuk Student Center (Side Lawn) to check-in and get helpful information!
11:30 AM to 1:30 PM - YSC Dining Hall: Enjoy a lunch at the YSC Dining Hall with your student. After lunch, use this time for students to get settled, visit offices, relax, and check out campus before sessions begin!
1:30 PM to 2:15 PM - Lumsden Gym: Let's kick off orientation with a 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Welcome in the Lumsden Gymnasium. Families and students will learn more about what it means to be part of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø community and about life on campus. Dr. Kerry Spicer, Vice President for Student Affairs will lead this session.
