AMHERST, N.Y. – John Yurtchuk, chair of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College Board of Trustees, has been appointed to the board of directors for the National Trust for the Humanities, a charitable organization that supports the prestigious National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH).

AMHERST, N.Y. –- Brooke Densing has been named as the first full-time director of 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College’s Center for Allied and Unified Sport and Exercise (CAUSE) initiative, which provides opportunities for individuals with disabilities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, and experience the camaraderie and sportsmanship that comes with athletic participation.

AMHERST, N.Y. – 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College has announced the appointment of Melaine Kenyon, an accomplished IT professional with more than 20 years of experience in higher education, as vice president for information technology. Her appointment is effective Jan. 2, 2020.

AMHERST, N.Y. – 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College Trustee Wayne Wisbaum has been posthumously honored as Outstanding Philanthropist of the Year at the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Western New York’s National Philanthropy Day Celebration held on Nov. 13.

AMHERST, N.Y. – 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College’s Business Administration Department has added specializations in the growing fields of social entrepreneurship and operations and supply chain management, giving students new educational opportunities in the business field.
