AMHERST, N.Y. – Dr. Joseph Sankoh, associate professor of political science at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College, has been selected for a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award to Rwanda, making this the second time he has been chosen for this prestigious international program.

AMHERST, N.Y. -- In light of the unique academic challenges 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College students and faculty are experiencing with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, an alternative grading option for the spring semester has been made available to undergraduate students.
AMHERST, N.Y. – A series of virtual workouts have been created to help 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College students stay fit and healthy during the statewide stay home order in an effort to combat the spread of the coronavirus.
AMHERST, N.Y. – As the coronavirus pandemic continues to unfold, the impact of COVID-19 on patient care and health care professionals is being discussed with 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College nursing and physician assistant students in spring semester classes, which transitioned to an all online format last month due to the crisis.
2:15 PM to 3:00 PM - Lumsden Gym: Families will learn more about the various services and opportunities available for their student through this interactive panel. They will hear from Campus Safety, I.T., Student Success, CHIP Center, Counseling Services, Dining, Center for Diversity & Inclusion, Campus Bookstore, and our Dean of Students.
3:00 PM to 3:30 PM - Lumsden Gym
3:45 PM to 4:15 PM - Lumsden Gym: This session is for families of students in the Scott Bieler College of Health Professions (College of Health Professions) students with the Academic Deans about what your student should expect in their first year of studying, class expectations, academic honesty, etc. Programs for this include: Nursing, Physician Assistant Studies, Physical Therapy
3:45 PM to 4:15 PM - Schenck 202: This session is for families of students in the College of Health, Human Services, and Business (CHHSB) students with the Academic Deans about what your student should expect in their first year of studying, class expectations, academic honesty, etc. Programs for this include: Golisano School of Health and Human Services: Social Work and Sociology, Behavioral Science, Health Promotion, Public Health, Leadership and InnovationAlfiero School of Business: Accounting, Business Administration
