AMHERST, N.Y. -- U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand will address the importance of advancing women in sports as featured speaker at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College’s kick-off event for the 30^th annual National Girls and Women in Sports Week to commemorate the extraordinary achievements of girls and women in sports.

AMHERST, N.Y. – Specialized training on modifying exercise programs to make them more inclusive to individuals with disabilities will be available in a one-day program for area fitness trainers and exercise instructors being offered at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College.

AMHERST, N.Y. – 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College student Nicole Kelley was honored as SABAH’s 2016 Northtown Center at Amherst Adult Volunteer of the Year at the organization’s annual awards dinner held on March 14. 

AMHERST, N.Y. -- Dale Demyanick, chairman of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College Board of Trustees, announced at the board’s March meeting that 51³Ô¹ÏÍø President Gary A. Olson has just signed a five-year contract to serve as president of the college until 2021.
