AMHERST, N.Y. – 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College will honor five accomplished graduates at its 2016 Distinguished Alumni Awards dinner on Nov. 4 that will begin with cocktails at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 7 p.m. in the college’s Wick Campus Center Social Room.

AMHERST, N.Y. -- Buffalo Mayor Byron W. Brown, chairman of the New York State Democratic Committee, will discuss the upcoming presidential election as 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College’s Distinguished Leaders Lecture Series speaker at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 17 in the Wick Campus Center’s Alumni Lounge.

AMHERST, N.Y. – 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College will hold its first-ever active shooter training exercise at 10 a.m. Oct. 11, an effort intended to evaluate emergency response preparedness on campus and interagency coordination.      

AMHERST, N.Y. – For the eighth consecutive year, 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College has been named to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll, the highest federal recognition an institution can receive for its commitment to the community, service learning, and civic engagement.
