The Program

Our personal and powerful program, taught exclusively by practicing professionals, equips students with a strong, marketable skillset while also allowing them to foster unique talents and interests. Students work closely with faculty to develop foundational design skills, resulting in work that is thoughtful, innovative, and well-designed.

Program Benefits

  • Foundational design knowledge: Students learn design industry standards by extensively developing their ideation abilities and foundational design skills. Courses in typography, layout, web design, UX design, motion graphics, content creation, and advertising prepare them to be on the cutting edge of their field.
  • Build the program that fits your goals: With numerous free general education and studio electives, students can create the program that best suits their goals. Combine these courses with our numerous minors in illustration, entrepreneurship, and marketing to enter the workforce with standout credentials.
  • Prepare for a competitive future: Artificial intelligence and easy-to-use software have made graphic design production capabilities more accessible to those without formal training than ever before. To stand out in this industry, designers need to not only make visually compelling work, but work that is also conceptually sound and provably effective. We designed our course sequence to prepare students to create stellar work that accomplishes specific, measurable goals for their future clients.

Student Work

We encourage students to develop work in line with their interests and career goals. Often, no two projects look the same, but they solve the problem at hand. Our students receive recognition at award competitions like the American Advertising Federation's annual American Advertising Awards.
